Starting on or about August 21, 2023, from 8AM-4PM roadwork will take place on Roseland Avenue in front of 255 continuing southbound.  

 

This may continue for several weeks.  There will be no street parking.  Detours will be in place.  Please plan alternate routes.

 

PSE&G will continue upgrading the electric system in your neighborhood to provide safe, reliable service. Construction crews will be working on the PSE&G and public rights of way in Essex Fells and Roseland as well as surrounding communities. Please note: PSE&G does not expect this project to cause any service interruptions.

On or about August 21, 2023 PSE&G will begin underground construction. Work hours will be 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, however some weekend and night work may be necessary. This phase of construction will be ongoing for approximately one months, weather dependent. Some aspects of this activity may result in unavoidable noise, as well as traffic adjustments.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. PSE&G is coordinating with the Police Department to minimize any inconvenience. Safety is our highest priority.  Therefore, it is essential that you and everyone using your property, including children and pets, refrain from going near our construction work zones.
