As a reminder, if you are doing work, or planning on doing work in your home, make sure you reach out to the building department to confirm whether or not you need a permit.

It is easier to ask the question, rather than receiving a violation, or possibly having to remove something that was done because no permits were obtained or is in violation of the code.
