Councilman William Sullivan

William (Bill) Sullivan is currently serving on the Essex Fells Town Council.  Bill grew up in Essex Fells, his family moved into town when he was three.  After his college years, Bill married and brought his growing family to Essex Fells.  He soon became an active leader in Cub Scouts. In 2005, Bill founded and currently presides over the Essex Fells Police Foundation.   This foundation was formed to provide equipment, training and other funding for the police department that was not covered in their restricted budget.  Over the years, the support provided by the Foundation has saved documented lives and has improved the quality of care and service provided by our police department.  Bill also sits on the Board of Trustees for the Peer Foundation, a plastic surgery group that performs gratis surgeries for people in third-world countries. 

Bill and his wife Jennifer currently live on Hawthorne Lane, with their three children, Tim, Brad and Katie.  Bill is a Financial Planner for UBS Financial in Florham Park, NJ and is an avid outdoorsman.
